It's now my favorite room in the house.
Here's a shot of the guest bedroom. The color on the wall is looking a bit faded through the lens of my camera but it's a very soothing grey-beige. I took a deep breath standing in the room with Charlie- very calming on the eyes. And here's our master. Again, washed out through the camera lens, but it is a true gray, Benjamin Moore's Horizon.
A hallway shot.
The wood stain is really growing on me now.
It's all coming together now that paint is on some of the walls.
But I have one questionable room- Joe's office. This room gets morning light but not much in the afternoon as you can see in the picture below. I originally thought to do a creamy white in the room, but now I'm thinking why not do something a little bolder since the room isn't going to be all that bright to begin with. Maybe a darker beige, like a river rock color is better? Pay no mind to the blue paint patch on the wall, the house is going to have too much blue if I paint another room that color! What do you think?

Are you missing a picture?? I dont think I see the room your talking about. :0)
Hi Kelly, thanks for your sweet comment on my blog, I'm so glad i found yours, your house is great! In our old house we had this great color that might work well for your office, it was called Oatland Sands Taupe by Valspar at Lowes, it was a really cool taupe with brown and a tad of green in it, light but neutral but still a color. Hard to explain! :) I loved the color though and painted the entire house the one color. Going to check out the rest of your blog!
What a beautiful house you have! I don't think it's too much blue as long as you balance out the cool with the warm!
I love the Bean's room! I say a nice tan for the office, relaxing yet neutral.
Thanks for the feedback ladies :o)
